Based off of a photograph I took while travelling in Paris, the scene is from a café called Le Quartier Général, an eclectic place but still firmly francophone with its bottle of water sitting on the table, ready for the next gathering around the table. Having lived in multiple francophone cultures around the world (France, West Africa, Quebec and New Brunswick), the scene evokes memories of meals shared with new friends.
