Oil on canvas, 14” x 11”

This painting is a view of Grand Manan island from the ferry that travels between the island and Blacks Harbour in New Brunswick. Based on a photograph I took on my first trip to the island, it attemps to convey the rainbow-like colours that lit up the evening sky on the return trip home. It is also my first landscape oil painting.
